Easy recipe for homemade and natural dog birthday cake

We are going to prepare a dog cake recipe. You can use it as a treat, for special occasions, or you can prepare it and take it to dog gatherings at the park.

The best thing about this recipe is that it is very easy to make and healthy for your dog because it is made with chicken, which contains quality protein, eggs, and oats.

As you will see, we have chosen ingredients that dogs can eat and that are good for them, and besides being homemade and natural, you can easily find them in your local supermarket.

Ingredients for the homemade dog birthday cake.

These are the ingredients for the dog cake we will need, for a medium-sized cake:

• - 6 tablespoons of white wheat flour (if you want it to be fluffier, add a teaspoon of baking powder).
• - 2 tablespoons of rolled oats
• - 2 eggs
• - 300 gr of minced chicken meat
• - 50 gr of bacon (if you don't want to use it because of the fat, you can substitute it with 50 gr of minced pork or beef)
• - 1 plain yogurt without sugar or sweeteners (if your dog is lactose intolerant, substitute it with a little water or chicken broth).
• - For decoration: You can use all the ingredients you like and that you know your dog loves, such as cream cheese, peanut butter, a little pâté (it's best to use plain pâté, without pepper or fine herbs).
• - 1 drizzle of olive oil.

You will also need:

• - 1 oven-safe mold, whether circular or rectangular...
• - A large bowl for mixing the ingredients

Preparation of the homemade dog birthday cake.

• - Preparation: 15 min
• - Baking: 20 or 25 minutes, depending on your oven and your preference
• - Total time: ready in 35 min.

Getting started.

• - Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius
• - Pour the white flour, rolled oats, and eggs into your bowl and mix with your hands.
• - Then add the minced chicken, bacon, and yogurt. With the help of a spoon, mash a little and mix the dough well until it is homogeneous.
• - Add a drizzle of olive oil to make the cake softer and richer, and finish mixing.
• - Pour this mixture into the baking mold and directly into the preheated oven. Bake the dog cake for 20 or 25 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
• - Remove the dog cake from the oven, let it cool, and carefully unmold it so it doesn't break.
• - You now have your dog birthday cake, but it looks a bit plain...
• - Let's decorate it a bit!
• - Once it is completely cool and unmolded, you can use a piping bag to decorate it to your liking: spread it with cream cheese, add some bacon bits, put dog biscuits on it, or write its name with peanut butter... unleash your imagination!
