Dog-friendly beaches in Catalonia and the Valencian Community
COVID-19 UPDATE:
Due to the exceptional situation caused by Covid-19, many of the dog-friendly beaches mentioned in this blog may not be operational this summer 2020 due to capacity modifications.
For added safety, we recommend that you contact the local Tourist Office before visiting their beaches.
With the arrival of the holidays, we want to make sure that our stay at the beach with our dog is as entertaining, fun and healthy as possible. We are linking to previous blogs that detail the dog-friendly beaches in Spain where you can enjoy the sun and sea with your dog, and since not all beaches are suitable for them, we provide the updated list of dog-friendly beaches in Spain for 2020. As always, we remind you of the basic rules for being a responsible owner, regulations for taking your dog to the beach:
-
- control your dog at all times
- carry a bottle of water to keep your dog hydrated
- try not to disturb other users
- pick up after your dog
- keep vaccinations up to date and carry the vaccination record
