Dog-friendly beaches II

Following up on the previous blog about Spanish beaches where you can enjoy the sun and sea with your dog, here is the second part:

Dog-friendly beaches in Murcia:

1. Playa de Las Moreras, Mazarrón.

A small natural beach of golden sand and small stones, great for a good swim and playing with the waves and your dog.

2. Playa del Gachero, Mazarrón.

An urban and small beach, made up of stones and hard sand. It is located next to the city's port and is not frequently visited by bathers.

 

 

 

Dog-friendly beaches in Andalusia:

1. Playa de la Rana, Adra, Almería

It was recently inaugurated as a dog beach in the summer of 2016. It is a small cove not suitable for human swimming. It has no sand, it is made of pebbles.

2. Playa del Cable, Motril, Granada

It is a small beach next to the city's port. Made up of sand and small stones.

3. Playa de Arroyo Totalán, Malaga

Next to Rincón de la Victoria, right at the mouth of the Totalán River, you will find this beach, 600 meters long and about 30 meters wide, spectacular for your dog to run on the beach and enjoy the waves. Stones, gravel, and dark sand.

4. Playa del Castillo Sohail, Fuengirola, Malaga

Malaga's best dog beach, extensive, always with a lot of visitors so your dog can make friends, it has a great beach bar for resting with your dog. It has more than 2000 square meters for dogs and their humans to enjoy.

5. Playa canina de Torre del Mar, Malaga

This is a proper dog beach: it's open all year round and has a play area for dogs, so they can play with their furry friends. Open for a couple of years, it's very well-received by users, with plenty of bins and bags for dog waste. It has a large expanse of fine sand.

6. Playa de Camposoto, Cadiz

A large beach of fine sand where dogs can walk freely without bothering humans.

Dog-friendly beaches in Galicia:

1. Playa de O Espiño, San Vicente de O Grove, Pontevedra

A 75-meter beach with fine white sand. Ideal for your dog to run and play with the waves.

2. Playa de Cesantes y Chapela, Redondela, Pontevedra

A dog beach that can only be accessed at low tide. A 150-meter long beach of fine sand, excellent for long walks with your dog.

Dog-friendly beaches in Asturias:

1. Playa el Rinconín, Gijón, Asturias

A wide dog-friendly beach with fine sand. It is very popular as it also has a dog park next to the beach.
